Full Container Load (FCL)

Loose Container Load ( LCL)
Loose Container Load ( LCL) is consolidating of two or more types of commodities of lesser quantity to make a full container load. LCL is also known as Less than a Container Load. This is where their is more than one client, more than one commodity and more than one buyers.
In Loose Container Load (LCL) various small packs of cargo ( boxes, pallets, drums, etc) with different sizes and dimensions are stuffed together in one container and then shipped. When being transported by ship, integral units are connected to the on -board power supply system.
When at the terminal, the containers are connected to the terminal’s power supply system.
For transport by road & rail, most integral refrigeration units are operated by a generator set ( genset)
